The INSV Kaundinya Oman Arrival was received with a ceremonial water salute, as officials, diplomats, and members of the Indian community lined the port to welcome the ship. Students from Indian schools performed vibrant cultural programmes, adding a festive atmosphere to the historic reception.
The ceremony was attended by Azzan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary at Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, as the chief guest, along with Tavishi Behal Pandey, Charge d’Affaires at the Indian Embassy in Muscat. Both sides highlighted the deep maritime and diplomatic ties between India and Oman.
